3M's New 200-Speed Print Film:
|
3M Photo Color Systems Division has introduced a new all-purpose 200-speed color negative film that performs better than ever. Available as 3M's ScotchColor™ film, Polaroid OneFilm™ and 3M-manufactured store brands, the new film features brilliant color, fine grain, and wider exposure and printing latitudes. More sensitivity, exposure latitude New color formers and an advanced class of DIR couplers provide accurate color reproduction, excellent sharpness and detail, and fine grain, even when enlarged. The film offers ultra-thin, high-efficiency emulsions that increase exposure latitude to a seven f/stop range -- from -2 to +4 -- giving your customers great results under a variety of exposure and printing conditions. Better bleaching/fixing latitude The thinner layer structure and lower silver coverage means easier silver removal, even in rapid-access C-41 process minilabs. Improved tape adhesion The film also features a new anti-static base that offers improved UV and static protection, as well as more secure splicing and taping during processing. 3M's new 200-speed film can be printed on the Kodak Gold Plus™ 100 channel with satisfactory results. But for optimal results, we recommend assigning it a dedicated channel. (The DX code is 66-5.)
